Dental crown

A dental crown is essentially a cap that covers and protects a compromised tooth.

The crown procedure is a two-step process that requires two separate office visits during one trip lasting approximately two weeks.
On your first visit the tooth is reshaped and measured for a mold that will securely fit your tooth.
A temporary crown is placed on your tooth while you await the final crown from the laboratory fabricating the device.
The second visit, approximately 2 weeks later, will fit and polish your final crown.
Our dentists use the highest quality materials including all porcelain and zirconia crowns. We do not recommend or use metal crowns.
