Merida is ranked as the safest city in all of Mexico.  This is due to the investment by the government in citywide cameras and highly trained police officers who are a constant presence in the streets to help keep tourists and residents safe.  Since tourism is key to keeping Mérida prosperous, a safe city is something the local residents take great pride in maintaining.

Other benefits of visiting Mérida include its convenient access to the beach, cultural and natural adventures as well as the low cost of living and high quality of life.

The idea of traveling outside your local town, city or country to have medical procedures done by a different doctor based on cost savings or area of speciality is not a new concept.  However, for many patients medical tourism is more than just the physical procedure it also includes adventures that allow for a more immersive experience.  Something similar to what you might enjoy on a more traditional vacation.  We offer boutique services to allow each patient to create their own medical tourism experience.

The main reason why medical and dental treatments in Mérida are lower is a really a combination of reasons.  The primary factors are the operational costs for hospitals, clinics are considerably below those same costs in the US.  These items include office space, staff salaries and insurance.  Additional factors such as the overall lower cost of goods and services also contribute to the lower cost for high quality procedures.

We work with a small group of highly trained and certified doctors and dentists.  Because of this we are able to investigate their backgrounds including training and schooling, quite extensively.  Many of our doctors and dentists attended schools, and have been trained, in both the US and Mexico.  And several continue to teach and have affiliations with research centers, schools and associations in Mérida and the US.

For clients who need to completely cancel their procedure we will investigate cancellation charges based on the policies for each doctor or dentist along with any other personal services that had been booked for their stay in Mérida.
